Guidelines to post a scholarship

Guidelines for Scholarship Provider

In order to be listed on the McGill CaPS External Scholarship website, your organization must meet the following criteria:

  1. The organization does not collect applicant’s social insurance information, and bank or credit card information.
  2. The organization does not charge a fee for application or re-application.
  3. The scholarship page does not display advertisements.
  4. The URL to the scholarship must be easily found by anyone on the organization’s website.
  5. The scholarship page must clearly outline all eligibility criteria, materials needed from applicants, and rules for winner selection process. 
  6. The scholarship page should provide contact information such as phone number and/or e-mail address that are easily accessible for applicants for further inquiries.
  7. The organization must have a privacy policy page or a web page with the following information: Name of business/organization and site name, mailing address, phone number, contact name and e-mail address. 
  8. The organization must clearly state what information they collect from applicants and how the information is used once it is collected.
  9. When a scholarship is submitted, the organization should provide: The URL to the scholarship website, contact name, mailing address, phone number, and e-mail address.  The email can include PDFs containing the scholarship information to be posted on the CaPS information bulletin.
  10. Websites/organizations associated with affiliate marketing or clck advertising may not be accepted.
  11. Scholarships rewarding students pursuing their studies in Canada is preferred.

Note: McGill CaPS reserves the right to remove any scholarship posting at any time.
